Even if you have a pool, owning a misting fan lets others watching the swimming activities stay cool too. These misters allow the outdoor cook to stay cool and collected even in the hottest day. The temperature goes down at least 30 degrees when a patio mister is used. Even the most strict outdoor kitchen budget can fit in an outdoor cooling unit.

Another way to keep cool for summer entertaining is the outdoor ceiling fan. These fans do not need the typical 'ceiling' to function because many of them are portable and come on a stand. They are certified for outdoors so they are impervious to the weather. Some of the fans are not portable and must be permanently placed, but they are also fantastic next to a pool area as well as the outdoor kitchen. Hot fun in the summertime does not mean the cook has to be hot. Use some of the portable cooling ideas for your next party and your guests will thank you.
